Wife: Mrs Josephine WILLS, born North Melbourne. He enlisted as a 39-year-old driver, his own address as 34 Hardwicke Street, North Melbourne, but with his wife shown at 399 Princes Street, Port Melbourne. Posted as Missing, 8 August, 1915, declared killed in action at an enquiry April, 1916. The circular was prepared by AWM staff with few details, but did suggest his wife had re-married as Mrs J Jennings at 156 Stokes Street, Port Melbourne.
