The second Family Notices appearing in the Standard Newspaper below was inserted by W J Stephens’ sorrowing sister, Lizzie.

Within a few years Lizzie had become Mrs Elizabeth Ann Collins, OBE while her husband mentioned in the notice was David Henry Collins.

Lizzie submitted her brother’s name written on the back of one of her Visiting Cards to the people compiling the names of for the Nott Street School Roll of Honour.
