Father: William PIPPARD, wife, Eliza M PIPPARD, born Port Melbourne. A 34-year-old labourer, he enlisted from 108 Clark Street, married, but father in Portland, later Clark Street as next of kin. His wife was not mentioned when he enlisted, later (1924) as Mrs E M AANENSEN, 4 Nelson Street. Brother, 9013, Henry Herman PIPPARD enlisted from North Richmond, also 117/5866, Albert PIPPARD, married, enlisted from Port Melbourne (Dow and then Liardet streets) the only three of the name to embark, although there was also a 43-year-old wharf labourer William Samuel PIPPARD from Port as being rejected in 1918. No circular returned.
