Parents: Peter and Catherine FRASER, born Port Melbourne, educated Nott Street SS, family shown in Graham Street, his father as a baker. Fraser was also a baker, 35 years of age with his father then at 252 Graham Street. A younger brother, 2800, Martin FRASER (DCM, MM) enlisted from same address. The circular was returned by a third brother James at 252. A Death Notice (The Argus, 25 September, 1918) have Samuel as “… loving brother of James, William, Margaret, Catherine, David and Corp Martin (on active service) and again as the fiancée of Bella Ross, “Loch Ness”, Footscray.
