Parents: James (late) and Elizabeth BLAIR, born West Melbourne, educated SS “Port Melbourne” (probably Nott Street), family then at 372 Ross Street. Enlisted as a 38-year-old labourer with his mother at 372 Ross Street, circular returned by Mrs Agnes C HART, Footscray, his only sister; four brothers, Samuel, Jack, Bob, and James. James senior died on 14 October, 1915.
