Parents: Edward James (late) and Mary Ann WALLIS, born Port Melbourne, educated Alfred Crescent SS, North Fitzroy. Wallis enlisted as a 20-year-old clerk at 38 McGregor Street, Albert Park, the circular returned by mother from Elwood nominating Middle Park as her late son’s principal place of association. Brother, 58017, Reginald Cunningham WALLIS, also born Port Melbourne, married, he enlisted from Northcote and was discharged as medically unfit after four months in camp. No known grave, he was originally posted as Missing, but declared killed in action around a month later. There were three Death Notices placed, all from friends.
