Enlisted 132 Heath Street, Port Melbourne, circular returned from that address, also noted on the Attestation of a younger brother, 1998, John SHERIDAN. Originally posted Missing, news of his death did not appear in the Standard until 3 June, 1916 after he was declared killed in action at a Court of Inquiry in April. No known grave.
