Parents: Alfred (late) and Mrs Lyla B HOPKINS, born Napier, New Zealand (arrived at 12 months) educated Nott Street SS. A 19-year-old clerk, he enlisted with his mother as next of kin, 327 Bay Street, killed in action at Passchendaele on 26 September 1917. Circular returned from Moreland.
