Parents: Charles John and Jane Ann FAUX, born Port Melbourne, educated Footscray SS. He was a 26-year-old labourer when he enlisted with father as next of kin in Yarraville. The circular returned by a brother John Henry FAUX (born Port Melbourne, served as 2366, Military Medal) from Yarraville nominating that as the serviceman’s primary place of association. Faux died in 1st Southern General Hospital, Birmingham after a leg was amputated following his wounding at Pozieres.
